Meet the Maker:
Carlo Moretti
Murano-born brothers Carlo and Giovanni Moretti first set out to experiment with innovative glassware in 1958, using the colors, aesthetic personality, and legacy glassblowing techniques of their Venetian island birthplace an ever-present source of inspiration. Today, traditional know-how and a hands-on process remain at the core of the workshop, while contemporary design codes influence new designs, including a foray into the realm of Murano glass lamps. Each collectible object is individually hand-blown, signed, and numbered, involving a team of up to 11 glassmakers in the Murano factory.
