Orto Argenteo
Since 1950, a small workshop in Milan, Orto Argenteo, has passed its silversmithing skills from one generation to the next, keeping alive the slow, careful rhythm of hand-worked sterling silver. Decades of collaborating with luxury houses inform the textures and finishes, but the spirit here is delightfully light-hearted. Fruits and vegetables—from pomegranates to mushrooms, pumpkins to tomatoes—are sculpted into silver salt and pepper shakers and grinders, turning the table into a place for craftsmanship (and a little mischief).
