Bordeaux-based designer and art director William Guillon grasps at the surreal, the uncanny and the otherworldly through his creative experiments. Design objects like candlesticks and tableware are fated to bring a brooding glamour to your home, each one distinctive in its own way and inviting the collector to ruminate on the ephemerality of life relative to the permanence of the items we accumulate along the way. Guillon works with materials as diverse as burnt wood and discarded straps, but a favourite is cast bronze, his repertoire including the rare, silver-toned white bronze.
