Twisted Murano glass frames were all the rage in mid-century design, mastered by the likes of Venini, Barovier & Toso, Tommaso Barbi, Seguso Viro and more. Murano glass maestros utilised the ancient torciglione technique to create the rich, rope-like effect, and added ribbed brass accents around the top and inner edges.
