Shaped in Nove’s time-honored workshops and painted by hand, this Fioravola tureen reimagines a treasure from the past. Its form blooms with majolica and painterly brushstrokes: tulips unfurl beside birds in flight, with each motif bearing the soft irregularity of the artist’s hand. Only at ABASK, it is both vessel and sculpture, a small ode to Italian craft.

Founded in 1897, Fioravola stands among the oldest ceramic ateliers in Nove—the storied Italian town where clay has long been coaxed into art. Its heritage is etched into every piece, the quality so enduring it has been formally certified for excellence. Across generations, Fioravola has breathed new life into its archives, reviving museum-worthy forms in collaboration with sculptors and master ceramicists, guided by 18th- and 19th-century sketches and molds. For ABASK, the atelier once again looks to its past: after a visit to Nove, ABASK hand-selected a series of vintage tureens, each one reimagined through layers of delicate, hand-painted detail.
