Story

Innovative silver objects feature heavily in the oeuvre of Gio Ponti, the polymath widely recognised as the ‘father’ of contemporary Italian design. These silver vases were created by Ponti in collaboration with Fratelli Calderoni in 1940, the shape of which was initially designed for Hotel Kursaal in Rimini, Italy. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
