Tucked along one of Milan’s cobbled streets, Erbavoglio Milano is a workshop where flowers bloom in copper instead of soil. Founded in 1988 by Elisabetta and Laura, the studio grew from an unexpected career change, sparked by a shared love of gardening, nature, and making things by hand. Inspired by the exquisite botanical models of the 19th century, each ornamental flower begins as a flat sheet of copper, carefully drawn, cut, and shaped petal by petal before being hand-painted with remarkable precision. The result is a bloom that never wilts, yet still carries all the charm and individuality of the real thing.
