Story

Towards the end of the 19th century, a group of French avant-garde ceramicists determined that pottery should be regarded as an art form. This continued to define the mid-century modern movement, as the very nature of the craft – and pieces such as these 1940s plates – speaks to the period’s renewed call for both form and function. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
