Story

During the Georgian era, designs like this sterling silver fish box had two primary uses: spices and tobacco. This one, sourced from Portugal, is finely executed in the shape of a fish with bulging eyes, fins and tiers of engraved scales. To access your treasure within, look to the head for the hidden hinge – just try not to be too intimated by its enigmatic gaze. Please note, this item is a truly original vintage piece with slight imperfections and distinctive characteristics that add to its charm and celebrate its unique history.
