The Wolfard Glassblowing Co. was born in the garage of Jon Wolfard after a gift he made for his wife Linda – a hand-blown glass oil lamp – was quickly coveted by the couple’s friends. 52 years later, his understated yet classic lamps are still bringing a nostalgic warmth and cosiness to homes the world over. Jon pioneered the in-flame technique, whereby the resilient borosilicate glass is heated to an unusually high temperature, requiring glassblowers of exceptional skill and experience.
