Story

Famed globally for its specialised chisels since 1955, Brandimarte's hammered jug is crafted by skilled Florentine artisans, using a hammering technique and 925 Silver —which is believed to be the only metal with natural antibacterial and antibiotic properties.

Maker

Famed globally for its specialised chisels, Brandimarte has forged silverware in Florence since 1955. The brand continues to provide job opportunities for prisoners who master the art of ‘hammering’, a technique originally inspired by travelling communities. These skilled artisans work with 925 Silver which is believed to be the only metal with natural antibacterial, antibiotic and flavour-enhancing properties.
