The fantastical world of Au Bain Marie began in 1977, when architecture graduate-turned-journalist Aude Clément started designing curiosities for the home, and for the dining table in particular. Spanning everything from pewter tableware to decorative pieces, the brand favors materials that feel elevated yet accessible. Curated vintage finds and antiques not only sit within its extensive line-up but also inform new designs, creating a delightful fusion of tradition and contemporary creativity. Today, Au Bain Marie has a store and gallery on Paris’s eclectic Left Bank, and Aude’s son, César Clément, has joined the fold to develop new collections.
