Maxime Prangé

The shifting light of nature, blurring colors of a landscape through a train window, the science behind illumination, the expansiveness of Japanese architecture—Maxime Prangé’s inspirations are legion. Often distilling a landscape into its most minimal components of light and color, Prangé creates walnut and washi paper lamps that double as abstract art. These works are created in his Lyon studio and in collaboration with local artisans.
