Saved NY’s Woodrow bedspread is inspired by early American hooked rugs, where loops of yarn were pulled through a stiff woven base. Characteristics varied greatly, but rich colours and clean-lined zigzags were two key features. Both of these details come to the fore in this handcrafted cashmere piece, resulting in a picturesque scene of a horse galloping within a patterned border.
